With the establishment of Israel as a state, a need arose for a symbol that would unite the citizens, a symbol that everyone can unite around, a symbol that does not depend on religion or sect, Israeli symbol. 

For the 1st and 2nd generation, the "golden apple" symbolizes childhood, for us it has almost rotted, and with it maybe Zionism. And within the decay, especially within the decay, new life grows.

In my work, I used the photographs of the original Jaffa fruit stickers from that period, and transferred them through a kind of digital decay. In addition, I collected footage from state archives of the orange groves and the packing houses and combined them in the video. The images I created from the stickers are shown in the accompanying booklet shown below.
