Expiramental Typography
A typographic study examining how the letters of the Hebrew alphabet look after physical melting. In the first stage of the research, plastic ironing beads that are usually used as a creative game for children were used. The beads were placed on the game boards as a kind of round pixels that make up letters from the "Haim" font and were melted using a heat press machine at different times and temperatures.
Later, the project examined additional manipulations on the products as a kind of "digital melting". After the products were scanned, they were graphically flattened using Image Trace and Threshold in the Illustrator software. Later on some of the vectors another digital tool was used to perform an animated digital fusion.
